Prior to joining Toesca, Ms. Ellis worked for 5 years at the law firm Barros & Errazuriz as an associate. She  has focused her practice in advising national and foreign companies, as well as banks and financial institutions, in local and international financing, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure and corporate advice in general. She holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
