Mr. Novoa is currently a member of several boards of directors, including Cementos Bío-Bío, and ESSAL, as well as the director of a number of family groups. He has been a director or executive at major companies in the electrical and sanitary sectors, including PSEG, Saesa, Chilquinta, Enersis, and Esval. He has also taken these roles in the mining sector, at SQM, and in finance, at CorpGroup in Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, and Ecuador. He is currently a Director of Endeavor Chile and he was Chairman of YPO-Chile, director of Amcham and director of the Association of Electric Companies. Since 2007, he has taken an active role as an angel investor in various start-ups. He holds a degree in economics from Universidad de Chile and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
