Ruta de Algarrobo is a 187-kilometer highway concession in the north of Chile that connects the coastal city of La Serena and its port of Coquimbo to the northern city of Vallenar in the Atacama region. The concessionaire has two risk mitigation mechanisms: a variable concession term ending in 2047, at the latest, and rights to receive a Minimum Guaranteed Income. Ruta del Algarrobo is controlled by the Spanish company Sacyr.
